How to Restore Guest iTunes Purchases

If you need to restore your device to factory settings or have a second iOS device then it may be possible to restore iTunes guest purchases.  To do this:

  • Tap on the menu icon  > go to "Settings" 
  • Select "Restore iTunes Purchase"
  • The application will then check your purchase status with the store. This can take a few minutes. 

Once completed, close the settings menu and return to "Newsstand" where you should have a "Download" option on publications. If this is still not the case, please close the application and open it again to make sure the Newsstand reflects the latest information.  This may take several attempts as the connection to the iTunes store may not respond at the first try.

Note:  For Zinio Unlimited account holders this is not necessary simply sign in to re-access.  Note it is only possible to access library and downloads should you have a current subscription
